Captain Marcus Long Sr. is a seasoned firefighter with ten years of experience in emergency services. He is certified as a Advanced EMT and Hazmat Technician, reflecting his expertise in critical situations. In addition to his role as a firefighter, he serves as a CPR Instructor and has experience as a fire and EMS instructor, demonstrating his dedication to training and education. Marcus has actively participated in several community service events and served for two years as Vice President on the board of Tutelage Cares Inc., a nonprofit organization focused on giving back to the community. An accomplished athlete, he was recognized as an All-American in high school and attended Alabama State University, where he pursued studies in education. Outside his professional commitments, Captain Long values time with his family and dog.
